On-Site Literacy Support (LS1C)

CESA 10's District Reading Specialist Service provides a licensed Reading Specialist to participating districts. Under state statute, each district must have a reading specialist.

This support is available to current members of the School Improvement Services Consortium (LS1A).

The Reading Specialist Supports:

Implementation of a reading curriculum in grades kindergarten to 12.
Classroom teachers as they implement the reading curriculum.
Collaborative work with administrators to guide implementation.
An annual evaluation of the reading curriculum.
Coordinate the reading curriculum with other reading programs and support services within the school district.
