WDPI Research to Practice - Inclusive Communities Grant

This discretionary grant—in a planning and training year in 2018/19—was awarded to CESA 10 in the amount of $31,147. The purpose is to provide high quality evidence-based professional development for districts to establish professional learning communities for inclusive learning that will measurably increase knowledge, skills and habits of students with disabilities.


As a result of our regional leadership in this area, CESA 10 was a recent recipient of the Department of Public Instruction's Inclusive Practices Grant. With this grant, we have the ability to help school staff put all the right pieces together build strong school, child, and parent partnerships. While 18/19 is a planning year, this is a multi-year grant.
