Academic and Career Planning (ACP)
CESA 10 provides professional development offerings to districts with training and resources to engage all stakeholders (students, parents, school boards, community members, business and industry partners) in the Academic and Career Planning process.
Due to the addition of experienced staff, local school districts now have the opportunity to request additional customized K-12 ACP planning to ensure all students are college, career, and life ready.
WHY CESA 10?
Training includes using a high school Personal Finance course to implement key aspects of the ACP state initiative.
District administrators will receive assistance with the process of examining the Redefining Ready! indicators for College and Career Readiness. Support will be provided to districts to explore the possibility of creating a unique student dashboard that fully conveys student readiness beyond the current state report card.
Districts can request assistance with the required annual review of PI-26 (state law) that asserts districts shall provide access to an education for employment program approved by the state superintendent.
