Academic Decathlon

Date: November 8, 2016
Location: CESA 10 Conference Center

As the traditional high school football, soccer, and cross county teams compete around the state in the fall, teams are also being formed on the scholastic playing field created by the Wisconsin Academic Decathlon. The non-profit, voluntary program offers all public and private high schools in the state a chance to compete in ten subject areas: math, science, economics, language and literature, art, music, social science, essay, speech and interview. The unique composition of each team must include students with A, B and C or below grade point averages. The Decathlon often reveals that "C" students excel, performing as well as the "A" students.
