The Colby School District has been focusing on building critical AI literacy skills with students as part of the CESA 10 AI Collaborative—and their 7th-grade team just modeled how to do this while also working with their lesson objectives!

For their “Home of the Brave” project, the team beautifully embedded these skills right into their curriculum. Students researched a president and used Gemini to help create an incredible hallway display.

By including their official AI use badges (top corners), they showed what transparent, student-appropriate AI looks like in action today. Great work, Colby!

What an incredible day! We are so proud to share the success of this year’s Adapted Track & Field Day held at Ward Field in Osseo, where 55 students from 8 districts came together for a day focused on inclusion, connection, and celebration—not competition. Students participated in a variety of events while also building friendships and creating unforgettable memories. Every student was celebrated with a custom wood-engraved medal, student-designed t-shirt, certificate, and Subway lunch. The medals and t-shirts were created by talented groups at Osseo-Fairchild High School, and the event was supported by incredible volunteers from the Above & Beyond Group and Osseo-Fairchild High School Track & Field team. Thank you to our amazing donors—Neillsville Lions Club, Alliance Bank, Unity Bank, Pigeon Falls Lions Club, CCF Bank, Lions Club of Mondovi, Fairchild Lions Club, Mayo Clinic Health System, Osseo-Fairchild Booster Club, Osseo-Fairchild Public Education Foundation Grant, Osseo Lions Club, and Global Finishing Solutions—for helping create a day where every student felt valued, included, and proud. This event truly reflected this year’s motto: Unity & Strength!
