Are you ready to become a literacy leader in your school district? CESA 10 is proud to offer an asynchronous, DPI-approved program designed to help educators master Science-Based Reading practices to ensure every student can thrive and become a proficient reader.

The program is designed for working educators, offering the flexibility of online courses while maintaining a rigorous, comprehensive curriculum. The program consists of six online courses plus a field experience, covering the following essential topics:

  • Foundations of Early Literacy

  • Assessment & Diagnosing Reading Difficulties

  • Dyslexia & Other Reading Difficulties

  • Adolescent and Children's Literature

  • Integrated Disciplinary Literacies

The program takes 12-18 months to complete, with each course lasting approximately 8 weeks. The program fee is $9,000 plus a $100 application fee. Payment options are available.

To be eligible for this professional growth opportunity, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, posses a valid Tier II or higher, full-time Wisconsin Teaching license, have a minimum of two years of full-time, regular teaching experience, and pass a standard background check.
