Tom publicly speaks/presents to students/parents/community organizations and companies while providing over 80 different health/wellness related topics through his own business called,“Balanced Wellness Services”.
Wrote and published his first book entitled, “Raising Pre-teens? Don’t Freak….Tweak and Empower them for Life! (An interactive book and workbook for parents/teachers/mentors of pre-teens which helps them discuss and interact with many difficult topics that are directly related to big decisions that will directly affect the pre-teens lives.)
Tom is in the middle of writing his second book titled, “Wait… I’m Flying the Plane?” Plan a “Flight Pattern” to Intentionally Live the Rest of your Life with Purpose and Passion
Worked as a training specialist for Realityworks, a company based out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, a local company who has developed the infant care simulators used with teens to prevent teen pregnancy. The company also has produced Prevent Paks which are used to prevent smoking among teens.
Former adjunct faculty member with Viterbo University from La Crosse, Wisconsin, UW-Eau Claire from Eau Claire, Wisconsin and UW-La Crosse from La Crosse, Wisconsin, the University of Alaska-Anchorage, St. Thomas University out of the Minneapolis, Minnesota area, and Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, WI. and the Institute of Graduate Studies based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Presently and adjunct faculty member at the Chippewa Valley Technical college in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Tom lives in Eau Claire and is happily married, has two adult children, a very proud grandpa of a 6-year-old grandson and a 2-year-old granddaughter.
